Stephen Walters and Ricky Tomlinson in Ragged

by 1 Comment

Good mate Stephen Walters stars in Ragged with Ricky Tomlinson on SkyArts1 on the 6th June – watch it if you can – Dave Gleave and Stevie have recorded  a couple of the songs used in the film too – produced by Johnny Vegas.

Starring Ricky Tomlinson, this story is based on Ricky’s true experiences campaigning for justice in an effort to overturn a verdict which sent him to jail for two years in the early 1970s. During his time in prison and on hunger strike, Ricky’s life is changed forever by a prison governor who encourages him to read Robert Tressel’s book The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists.

The Disco Smith Band

As many of my friends know I have been helping out The Disco Smith Band with all of ther Social Media stuff including Myspace, Twitter, facebook, Youtube, Website and Soundcloud as well as getting them on Get Me On Stage so that their tracks get listened to.

The trouble is with everything else that is going on in my life I haven’t the time to actually manage the band so have kind of told them that. I will continue to help them with all of their Social stuff.

I basically built a hub at http://www.thediscosmithband.com and all of the Social Media elements spin off from that website.
Take a listen to a few tracks and let me and the band know what you think!
